Word for That Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Ten Talents Studio LLC, a Virginia limited liability company ("we," "us"), for the Word for That app and website. By using Word for That, you agree to them.

1. What Word for That is, and isn't

Word for That offers Scripture, reflections and a private journal for everyday moments. It is a devotional tool, not counseling, therapy, medical care or a crisis service. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (U.S.) or call 911.

2. Who can use it

You must be 18 or older to buy a plan or pack.

3. Plans, payments and renewal

• Prices are shown before you buy. Payments are processed by Stripe.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel.
• You can cancel anytime from the "Manage subscription" link in the app. Canceling stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Packs are one-time purchases that unlock content on your device.
• Refunds: if something went wrong, email us within 14 days of a charge and we'll make it right. Otherwise, payments are non-refundable except where the law requires.
• If we change a subscription price, we'll tell you in advance, and the new price applies only from your next renewal.

4. Gifts

A gift code can be redeemed once. Unredeemed gift codes don't expire, but they can't be exchanged for cash.

5. Free features

Some cards and features are free. We may change what's included in the free version.

6. The content

Scripture quotations are from the Berean Standard Bible, which is in the public domain. Our reflections, design, artwork and app belong to Ten Talents Studio LLC. You may use them personally and share individual cards with friends, but please don't copy, resell or republish the content.

7. Your journal

Your journal and notes are yours. They're stored on your device, not with us, so we can't recover them if you clear your browser data, lose your device or delete the app.

8. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the app: no attempts to break, copy or resell it, bypass payments, or use someone else's purchase.

9. Disclaimers

Word for That is provided "as is." We work to keep it running, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect or consequential losses, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Virginia law. If there's a problem, please email us first; most issues can be solved quickly. Any legal dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Virginia.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date above and, for important changes, show a notice in the app.
