Word for That Privacy Policy

Word for That is made by Ten Talents Studio LLC ("we," "us"). It gives you Scripture for the moment you're in. We built it so your words stay with you: there are no accounts, and your journal never leaves your device.

The short version

• No account, no password, no profile.
• Your journal, notes, saved cards and settings are stored only on your device. We can't see them.
• Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see your full card number.
• We don't show ads, sell your information or use tracking tools.

What we collect and why

Read-aloud uses your device's built-in voice; nothing you play is sent to us.

What we never do

• Read your journal or notes. They stay on your device.
• Show ads or share your information with advertisers.
• Sell or rent your personal information.
• Use AI tools on your writing.

Who the app is for

Word for That is for adults 18 and older. It is not directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Sensitive moments

Some cards speak to hard seasons like grief, anxiety or loneliness. What you write about them stays on your device. Word for That is not counseling or a crisis service. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (in the U.S.) or call 911.

Keeping and deleting your information

• On your device: clear the app's data in your browser, or delete the home-screen app, and everything is gone. We can't restore it.
• Purchase records: we keep them as long as you have an active purchase and as long as tax and accounting rules require. Email us to delete anything we don't have to keep.

Security

The website and payments use encrypted connections (HTTPS). Because your journal is never uploaded, there's no copy of it on our servers to be exposed.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us; we answer within 30 days and never charge for it. Residents of some states, including Virginia and California, have these rights by law; we offer them to everyone.

Changes and contact

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for important changes, show a notice in the app.
